The Brocklesby Estate is pleased to present emerging plans for ‘Weelsby Park’, situated to the west of Humberston Road and providing the opportunity for a sustainably located new community of up to 1,500 new homes.
Situated off Humberston Road and forming a natural extension to Cleethorpes , the site is well connected to employment, green space and local town centres.
Our vision is to create a well-designed, future-orientated neighbourhood that feels part of the local area – with homes for different needs, new community facilities, accessible green spaces for people and wildlife, and financial support for schools, roads and local services.
We’re planning new homes in a way that respects the local area and integrates with Weelsby Woods but keeping a clear boundary between town and countryside and providing more public access to natural green spaces and new community facilities.

How will the project move forward?
We are in the early stages of bringing forward our plans and are working with North East Lincolnshire Council to deliver the following timeline of activities over the coming months and years.
February 2026
Consultation with the community commences.

Anticipated submission of a proposed masterplan for consideration by North East Lincolnshire Council.
Autumn 2026
Anticipated determination of the masterplan by North East Lincolnshire Council’s elected members.
Winter 2026/2027
Anticipated submission of an outline planning application for consideration by North East Lincolnshire Council.
Spring 2027
Anticipated determination of the outline application by North East Lincolnshire Council’s elected members.
Summer 2027
Submission of reserved matters planning applications for consideration by North East Lincolnshire Council.
Winter 2027
Anticipated determination of the first reserved matters planning applications.
2030 onwards
Expected commencement of the delivery of new homes and facilities.
